NATIONAL RESIDENT ENGINEER (Road and Bridge)

🚀 WE ARE HIRING: Resident Engineer (Road and Bridge) – 4 Positions

We are expanding our team and looking for 4 dynamic, self-motivated Civil Engineers to join us immediately / on short notice. If you thrive under pressure and excel at driving progress on-site, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

– Assist the Team Leader in supervising and coordinating the National Engineering Teams, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project objectives.
– Prepare daily and weekly reports, verifying the accuracy of information submitted by the Contractor and by individual engineers. Contribute to the preparation of monthly progress reports, including technical, financial, and contractual aspects.
– Review technical drawings, shop drawings, method statements, mix designs, work schedules, and other relevant documents in advance to support the Team Leader and International and National Engineers in evaluating the Contractor’s proposals. Ensure the Contractor executes the works correctly and in compliance with approved plans and specifications.
– Inspect the Contractor’s daily works to confirm compliance with the Quality Control Management Plan, technical specifications and drawings. Witness laboratory and field tests (as necessary), review test results, and approve/reject materials, in coordination with the Team Leader and International Resident Engineer, when required.
e- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all technical issues, site instructions, and nonconformance reports through continuous dialogue with International and National Engineers.
–  Attend and contribute to all regular site meetings with the Client, Contractor, and other stakeholders.
–  Assist in contract administration for milestone-based payments, including:
• Monitoring progress toward contractual milestones.
• Verifying achievement of milestones against technical requirements and approved schedules.
– Providing input to the Team Leader for milestone certification.
– Maintain proper documentation and records, including site diaries, correspondence logs, photographic records, and registers of drawings and submittals.

–  Assist in monitoring construction progress against the program of works and advise, in coordination with the Team Leader and International Resident Engineer, on corrective actions when delays occur.
– Review and verify as-built drawings, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, and
quality audits.
– Support the Team Leader and International Resident Engineer in project close-out activities, including taking-over procedures, preparation of snag lists, supervision during the Defects Liability Period (DLP – if it would be required), and verification of final milestone deliverables and performance certificates.
– Foster and maintain a professional working relationship with the Client, Contractor, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
– Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by the Team Leader in line with the responsibilities of the SC position.
