An Indian College Student Breaks The Guinness World Record With a Pen-Sized Vacuum Cleaner

An Indian college student has once again broken a Guinness World Record with his inventive spirit. Tapala Nadamuni, a 23-year-old engineering student, has constructed the world’s tiniest operable hoover, this time with a simple pen as its foundation.

Nadamuni’s pen-sized hoover, powered by a tiny four-volt vibration motor and coupled with a minuscule rotating fan, can suction particles despite its small size. The device measures only 0.25 inches, which is impressive given its capability.

Nadamuni’s road to this world record began in 2020, when he set the record for a hoover cleaner measuring 69 inches. However, his record was eventually broken by another inventor. Undeterred, Nadamuni went back to the design board, aiming to recapture the championship with a much smaller invention.

His most recent creation has not only earned him a Guinness World Record, but it has also sparked great interest from his classmates and academics. According to Nadamuni, “All of the students in our college were amazed by this tiny hoover.” And my teachers described this masterpiece as one of the most beautiful they had ever seen.”
