Toyota has made numerous additional initiatives to secure an early foothold in the battery electric vehicle industry. Tesla, a well-known brand, competes with General Motors to establish a strong presence in the electric vehicle market. Toyota revealed its electric vehicle roadmap in July of this year. This includes electric vehicles, which can travel up to 621 miles.
